May 24 Illinois 3rd Appellate Court Justices Campaign Kickoff. Illinois 3rd Appellate Court Justices, Linda Davenport, Joe Hettel and Lance Peterson, invite you to join them at their Campaign Kickoff Wednesday May 24 from 5pm to 8pm at Reserve 22, 485 Winchell Way, Glen Ellyn. This event is free of charge. Appetizers will be served. Cash bar.
May 25 Membership Meeting. Our May monthly meeting will be held Thursday May 25. The meeting will be in person at the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, 800 N. Main St, Glen Ellyn. Doors will open at 7 pm and the meeting will start at 7:30 pm. Our speaker will be Speaker Ken Mejia-Beal, Chair Democratic Party of DuPage County. Topic: The New Precinct Maps.
Ken will address the following:
- Why new precinct maps
- How the maps were developed
- How we can work with the maps
- What this means for PCs
There will be a social hour following the meeting. Masks are recommended.
Join us for the Cream of Wheaton. More than 20,000 people will enjoy food and fun in downtown Wheaton June 1 - 4. Come be one of them! We’ll have a booth all four days and volunteers are still needed. Especially needed are donations of gift cards from local businesses to use in prize drawings. If you’re willing to contact a few businesses, donations in any amount would be appreciated. You may bring gift cards to the May 25 meeting, or contact Stacy for pick up. A sign-up sheet for booth volunteers will be available at the May 25 meeting, or contact Stacy Slater at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
